Community Groups

We work with community groups to address employment gaps for persons with disabilities. We create innovative programs and services that address current labour market demands. We do this by developing industry specific programs and services to expand employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Schools

We work with schools/school boards to develop strategies that strengthen the student connection between school and work. We provide paid and unpaid work integrated learning experiences for high school and post secondary students. We support high school transition planning by providing students with opportunities in direct employment, paid/unpaid work experiences, and the development of students’ portfolio’s of work skills. We also connect students with community engagement opportunities that foster self-efficacy and goal-setting.

Businesses

Businesses are the backbone of the economy! At Abilities to Work support businesses to develop customized solutions to fill job vacancies. We will work with you to develop strategies to address labour market shortages. We offer pre-screening of candidates, direct job matching of qualified candidates, job fair and hiring event opportunities, resources on accommodation and accessibility in the workplace, and education and training on diversity and inclusion.
